Job Title: Nursing Surgical Charge Entry Specialist
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program; BSN preferred. Licensure: Current New Mexico State RN license. Experience: Minimum of five years as a Registered Nurse, including one year in OR and three years in system applications with project implementation experience. Desired: Eight years of RN experience, strong computer skills, and extensive clinical practice. Supervision: Reports to the Director of Surgical Services.
Environment: Office and hospital setting with potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens.
Physical/Scheduling Requirements:
Some travel and potential for long hours during critical issues. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and extended use of computer equipment.
