Min Max Overview Presbyterian Homes - Optage Hospice is seeking a Full-Time Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide to join the team. No weekends required, Monday-Friday 7a-2:30p. We can consider schedules between 8-10 shifts per pay period. As an Optage caregiver, you will be serving clients in various locations in the Minnesota metro area, providing individualized one on one care. Schedules are designed to minimize the amount of traveling you will be doing. Nursing Assistant training is required, but candidates do not have to be active on the MN NAR Registry in order to qualify. Responsibilities The Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the Interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and performs various services for the client as assigned to meet the client's personal needs and to promote comfort while maintaining consistency with regulations and established best practices. We provide care in the patient's home which may be a personal residence, group home, assisted living or skilled nursing setting. Qualifications Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification in state(s) in which he/she practices OR successful completion of a home health aide instruction course and successful completion of home health aide competency testing to work in Home Care. Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice, home building, critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness. Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies. Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
