Job Description
Closing Date- 10/22/2024
Able to work with Incarcerated Individuals in a medium security prison. Must follow the Nursing Pledge.
Should have 1 year of acute/critical care experience.
Past wound care experience, which includes daily dressing changes using several different types of dressing including wound vacs.
Be able to start an IV
Be familiar with EKG machines and completing an EKG independently
Be familiar with Telemedicine
Be familiar with Narcan and Narcan administration
Ability to multi-task is a must.
Prioritize duties
Good written and verbal communication skills. Written work must be legible.
Medication administration
Be able to work in a high stress environment
Become knowledgeable with polices and directives
Be able to work 8/16 hours without cell phone
Knowledge of basic computer skills
Be able to complete a comprehensive nursing assessment.
Vital signs
Pain assessments
Blood sugar checks with insulin administration
Be able to to give vaccines.
Patient teaching
Be a team player.
Other duties as assigned.

The award will be made to the vendor(s) who provide the best overall value.

Initial estimated service dates are for 12/1/24-2/28/25, however services may be extended for up to a total of two years at the same rates upon mutual agreement between the hiring agency and awarded vendor(s).
