Deputy Manager opportunity at a beautiful, long-established nursery in
West Reading.
This Deputy Manager role is
supernumerary, meaning you ll work across the nursery to support the staff and management team, have dedicated office/admin time, and be confident stepping up to run the nursery in the Manager s absence. We re looking for a passionate leader with strong EYFS knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a real drive to inspire and motivate a team.
About the Nursery: - Family-run setting, established over 50 years ago
- 43-place nursery caring for children aged 12 weeks+

Deputy Manager Role Requirements: - Full and relevant Level 3 qualification or higher
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development experience
- Confident in safeguarding, child protection, and SEND practices
- Solid EYFS knowledge
- Experience contributing to successful Ofsted outcomes ("Good" or "Outstanding")
- Ability to build excellent partnerships with parents and external professionals
- Willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS check
