Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

The Nurse in this role practices independently, providing routine and complex care while developing coping skills for clinical nursing contingencies. Responsibilities include meeting competencies, providing nursing care, administering medications, documenting patient information, and educating patients. Core competencies involve utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient throughput, managing unit operations, and maintaining safe practice/quality care. Technical competencies cover clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Job requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, completion of orientation and competency validations, and certifications in various specialties. The work schedule is full-time from 7PM to 7AM.
