To provider consultation, diagnosis and treatment of related medical conditions, under supervision of the physicians in the practice
Examines 08/GYN patients, takes medical history, records results, and makes preliminary diagnosis or decides on follow-up procedures.
Administers or orders diagnostic tests, blood work, and interprets test results.
Performs GYN procedures such as IUD insertion and removal, Nexplanon insertion and removal, colposcopy, etc.
Exercises professional judgment regarding consultation with physicians and colleges concerning appropriate treatment.
Develops and implements patient care plans, instructs and counsels patients, and
records progress.
Prescribes medications to the extent allowable by state guidelines and clinic regulations.
Participates in staff meetings, planning meetings and other meetings as needed.
Exporting data for OB patients to make sure all entries are properly documented.
Maintains accuracy, completeness and timeliness with medical charts. All medical charts must be closed within 48 hours of the encounter in order to ensure high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Provider goals: sees up to twenty-two (22) patients per day subject to clinic goals.

Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years clinical experience preferred as an OBGYN Nurse Practitioner.
Thorough knowledge of principles and practices of modern medicine related to public health services and general knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to public health.
Training, Education and Licensure
Current license to practice medicine within the state of California
Board-certified or Board eligible in California
Current DEA
Must be NCCPAA/AANP
Current BLS certification

Work Schedule
You will generally be scheduled to work each day Monday through Friday, with starting times each day varying between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. and ending time between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., as required to meet the operational needs of the company. There will be occasional Saturdays as needed.
You will need to travel to other clinic locations as needed for cross coverage support.

Pay Scale/Ranges:
$52.00-$134.00/hour (and the hourly equivalent for salaried employees).
Employees actual pay rate will depend on a host of factors including, without limitation, job location, specialty, skillset, education, and experience. The patey scale/ranges shown are representative of the pay rates for the job title reflected above, but an employees actual pay rate will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
