• Performs cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography) procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing patient conditions, including stress tests and use of contrast agents.
• Prepares and monitors patients, reviews medical records, documents findings, and ensures accurate test charging.
• Troubleshoots equipment issues, recognizes abnormalities, and refers questions as needed.
• Maintains and cleans equipment; adapts to new procedures and technologies.
• Requires 2-4 year Allied Health program; experience in cardiac sonography preferred, new grads welcome.
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered (RDCS/RCS/ACS) and hold BLS certification.
