Job Purpose: The Nurse Practitioner provides primary care in collaboration with physicians for oncology patients to enhance outcomes for patients and their families.
Essential Functions:
Establishes goals aligned with center objectives. Maintains policies, procedures, and standards of care. Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates patient care. Provides care throughout all phases of diagnosis and treatment. Documents interventions and prescribes therapies as needed. Collaborates with healthcare team for comprehensive care. Educates patients and families on health needs. Promotes wellness and recommends community resources. Monitors patients for health status changes. Qualifications: Minimum Master's in Nursing, current RN license, board certification as Nurse Practitioner, and at least one year of NP experience. Preferred oncology experience.
Physical Demands: Requires lifting up to 50 pounds and exposure to environmental risks.
Job Type: Full-time, Pay: $120,231 - $156,542 per year, with benefits including health insurance and tuition reimbursement.
