Role Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team with a strong background in acute care, emergency medicine, or urgent care to administer IV ketamine therapy and provide wellness-focused treatments . This role is ideal for a provider looking to expand into functional and integrative medicine while leveraging their acute care expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Administer IV ketamine infusions and oversee patient monitoring for safety and efficacy.
- Conduct initial assessments and follow-ups for patients receiving ketamine therapy, hormone therapy, and weight management services (if applicable).
- Utilize acute care expertise to manage patient safety, monitor potential adverse reactions, and handle emergent situations.
- Provide patient education on treatment protocols, risks, and post-infusion care.
- Collaborate with the Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with all safety protocols.
- Work with the administrative team to ensure a smooth patient experience.
- Support clinic growth by staying current on best practices in medicine and integrative health.
Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered NP license in Oregon (or eligibility for licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in acute care settings, emergency departments, or urgent care.
- Interest in psychiatry, functional medicine, psychedelic medicine, and longevity-focused treatments.
- Certification in BLS/ACLS (required).
- Passion for patient-centered, holistic care with an emphasis on mental health and wellness.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
