A leading healthcare facility in northwest Ohio, near Delta, seeks a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with a background in Hematology and Oncology for a permanent, full-time role. Position Overview
  • Role: Nurse Practitioner, Hematology/Oncology Specialty
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Friday (3-5 days per week)
    • No weekends or holidays required
    • Occasional on-call shifts depending on practice needs
  • Responsibilities:
    • Manage daily clinic schedules and provide comprehensive care to Hematology/Oncology patients
    • Assist with infusion clinic needs, covering acute cases as part of a rotating schedule
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary medical team
    • Primarily outpatient role with optional inpatient rounding for those experienced
    • Handle a caseload of 10-15 patients per day
    • Clinical documentation is essential, and experience with Cerner is a plus
    • Complex decision-making abilities and the ability to work independently with new patients
Requirements
  • Certification: Board-certified NP (AANP/ANCC)
  • Licensure: Ohio license or willingness to obtain
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in an ambulatory or acute care NP role (excluding RN experience or training)
    • Preferred background in Hematology/Oncology
  • Professional Attributes:
    • Strong interest in Hematology/Oncology with a commitment to ongoing education
    • Clean malpractice record and current licensure
