We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team located just north of Atlanta, Georgia. This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver essential medical care to an underserved population in a secure and supportive environment. As a key member of the clinical team, the Nurse Practitioner will provide comprehensive primary and urgent care services, manage chronic conditions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure the physical well-being of patients.

Job Details

NURSE PRACTITIONER - Adult Unit (18+)

DAY SHIFT, 6am-6pm

Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Georgia
Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) by an accredited certifying body
Active DEA license
BLS/CPR certification
Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in urgent care, primary care or emergency room settings
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
Must be able to suture, repair lacerations, interpret diagnostic imaging and provide on-going care for chronic disease management (diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, etc)
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) and documentation best practices
Ability to work effectively in a secure environment and communicate well with diverse populations
Commitment to providing ethical, respectful, and patient-centered care
