We are currently seeking a Dermatology-focused Nurse Practitioner (NP-C) to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and respected practice with a commitment to excellence and patient experience.
Position Overview:
The Dermatology NP will play a key role in delivering exceptional dermatologic care to CAPS patients. This provider will work autonomously and collaboratively with our surgical and medical aesthetics team to diagnose, treat, and manage a broad range of dermatological conditions and cosmetic concerns.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive dermatologic assessments, consultations, and skin evaluations.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical dermatologic conditions (e.g., acne, rosacea, eczema, psoriasis, skin cancers).
- Perform dermatologic procedures, including biopsies, cryotherapy, excisions, and minor surgeries as appropriate.
- Administer cosmetic dermatology services such as neuromodulators, dermal fillers, microneedling, and laser therapies (depending on experience).
- Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient needs, goals, and CAPS standards of care.
- Educate patients on preventive skin care, treatment options, and post-procedural care.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and the aesthetics team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain thorough, compliant, and accurate patient documentation within the EMR system.
- Participate in practice-wide meetings, training sessions, and community engagement initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited NP program with current licensure in the State of Ohio.
- Minimum of 2-3+ years of dermatology experience preferred (medical and/or cosmetic).
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and patient education skills.
- Commitment to delivering an exceptional patient experience in a luxury medical setting.
- Interest in or prior experience with cosmetic dermatology (Botox, fillers, lasers) is a strong plus.
- Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
