Requirements
- Active NY State Nurse Practitioner License
- Board Certification
- Minimum of 6 months experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical exams and diagnostic tests to assess patient conditions
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient education on preventive care, medications, and lifestyle changes
- Treat minor injuries and infections using appropriate clinical procedures
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as bloodwork, urinalysis, and imaging
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care plans
- Offer counseling and support for patients with behavioral health concerns
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
