We are currently looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to join our Tribal and Commercial Health Clinic Operations team located at the Sovereign Family Practice Clinic - Ada working 9:00AM-6:00PM - Mo Tu We Th Fr.
Summary:
Provide a full range of care, evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses or injuries as well as a variety of primary care of episodic complaints. Treat all patients with care and concern to ensure good customer service and a good bedside manner.
Responsibilities:
Provides first class customer service - courteous and helpful to all internal and external customer types
Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
Partners with internal and external services as needed to ensure appropriate referral is made

May augment staff in other areas as needed based on staffing and needs ratio in regularly assigned unit
Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
Participates in performance improvement activities to measure, assess and improve the quality of assigned work area
Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information in accordance with HIPAA regulations
Evaluate and treat all patients for acute minor illnesses or injuries and provide care for primary care of episodic complaints
Provide preventative diagnostic and therapeutic care and services for patients of all ages
