Our Team

We are seeking clinicians from diverse backgrounds to join our Specialist Client Services team as Support & Rehabilitation Coordinators (SRC). You will be part of a multidisciplinary national team based across the UK, serving as a key contact for our clients and their families. This role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol, Cambridge, London, or Southampton, with hybrid working options available.

Your Role and Responsibilities

  1. Liaise with clients who have sustained serious injuries or illnesses, providing education, support, signposting, and advocacy, including support for occupational diseases such as Mesothelioma, Silicosis, Pneumonitis, and Occupational Asthma. Manage expectations and support clients and families through treatment and rehabilitation, assisting solicitors in client management.
  2. Facilitate smooth transitions for new clients from NHS services, coordinating with medical and care staff regarding discharge, and advising on local services. Support clients with complex needs, including palliative and long-term care.
  3. Build relationships to resolve client issues, working collaboratively with relevant bodies, assessing individual needs, and acting on referrals from case handlers or lawyers. Document and communicate actions effectively.
  4. Act as a liaison between lawyers, public bodies, charities, NHS, and DWP to ensure effective communication and access to statutory or voluntary services. Provide ongoing support, signposting, and practical assistance, ensuring clients maximize welfare entitlements with support from our Benefits Team.
  5. Promote our SRC services by engaging with NHS Trusts, charities, and external agencies, delivering training, and developing referral pathways.
  6. Follow up with clients for feedback to improve our services.

You will be part of the Specialist Client Services team, working alongside experienced solicitors recognized for supporting those affected by serious injuries and illnesses.

About You

  • Experience within the UK healthcare or social care system
  • Passion for high-quality, client-centered practice
  • Clinician with current registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC)
  • Knowledge of healthcare, rehabilitation, welfare policy, and advocacy services
  • Understanding of rehabilitation codes, Mental Capacity Act, and welfare benefits
  • Awareness of external stakeholders (e.g., Headway, SIA, Aspire, Macmillan, Meso UK)
  • Experience in clinical, health, social care, or rehabilitation settings
  • Knowledge of complex conditions (e.g., brain, spinal cord injuries, orthopaedic injuries, birth injuries, industrial diseases, bereavement)
  • Experience working across various settings (acute, post-acute, palliative, hospice, community)
  • Experience within a multidisciplinary team framework
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently
  • Full UK driving license and access to a car for client meetings
