Ditmas Park Nursing & Rehab -
Ditmas Park Rehabilitation Care Center expanded its services to the communities of Brooklyn & New York. We are in the process of employing additional healthcare professional and ancillary staff and has a need for an NURSE EDUCATOR. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to be mentored by highly experienced executive nurse leader. Leadership training will be given to the successful candidate. Highlights of the role include but not limited to:
- Designing & implementing a competency-based orientation (CBO) curriculum.
- Annual, orientation & PRN trainings for all departmental staff hired by Ditmas.
- Precepting, orienting, & checking competency and proficiency of clinical staff working with the different resident population.
- Facilitate preceptorship, mentorship programs, leadership trainings, open houses, nursing grand rounds in collaboration with the VP of Clinical Services.
- Monitor Recruitment & Retention data with the VP of Clinical Services & Administrator.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Master's degree or higher graduate degrees preferred
- Active NYS RN license/certificate
- Two years experience in acute care or SNF
