A growing and expanding Hospital in warm and serene Central California is now actively searching for a Nurse Director of Ambulatory Cancer Center to add to its reputable team of healthcare professionals.
The Nurse Director of Outpatient Cancer Center will work with a state of the art hospital that has an outstanding team of medical experts who can provide patients with the latest in cancer care, from Cyberknife to the most advanced da Vinci robotic surgery. In addition to the most advanced technology, the Nurse Director of Outpatient Oncology Services will be part of a team that places special emphasis on communication between all the specialties and coordinating services to create the best impact on the patient experience and outcomes.
The Nurse Director of Oncology Cancer Center will work collaboratively with the Medical Director, Chief Strategy Officer and Chief Operating Officer as a triad leadership team. As a team, the Nurse Director of Ambulatory Oncology Services will also collaborate with the physician leadership, program managers, management, nursing, and clinical staff to define strategies, business issues and performance improvement opportunities for the cancer service line.
The Cancer Center Ambulatory Nurse Director will manage the Cancer Service Line Department, business development, operational, and financial oversight. The Nurse Director of Infusion Oncology Services will evaluate the operational performance of the service line and collaborates with physician leaders, clinical and management staff to identify opportunities to enhance quality, improve the patient experience, increase patient throughput, decrease costs, and increase the contribution margin.
The Nursing Director of Comprehensive Cancer Center will work with the Department of Quality, physician leaders, and hospital staff to ensure that the overall operation is in compliance with policies and all relevant Federal, State, and local regulatory agencies, and JCAHO Standards. The Nurse Director of Infusion Cancer Center will have essential functions to improve Patient Outcomes and Document Results, increase Revenues and Contribution Margin while decreasing total cost of care, develop market share, educational collaboration and fund development. OCN certification is preferred for this role.
