Job Number: R Nuclear Weapons Engineering Analyst Key Role: Leverage te chn ical nuclear weapon and missile systems knowledge and engineering experience to support the te chn ical analysis, development, and operational integrity of mission-critical efforts in relation to foreign nuclear missiles and hypersonic missile programs. Develop operational and strategic weapon assessments for current and future adversary systems. Project potential impacts to existing and developmental National Security Space ( NSS ) systems. Leverage all-source intelligence, including GEOINT, ELINT, SIGINT, HUMINT, and OSINT, with the Intelligence Community ( IC ) , Department of Defense ( DoD ) , and the Department of Energy ( DoE ) as they relate to nuclear and hypersonic missile programs. Research, characterize, assess performance and vulnerabilities, and develop reports detailing adversary nuclear missile threats to U.S. and allied forces to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities. Apply knowledge of networks, te chn ology, and experience with customer tools and databases to identify, extract, and analyze pertinent information and provide te chn ical analysis to enhance existing and future defensive capabilities. Employ a variety of analytical methodologies, including network analysis, li nk or relationship discovery analysis, temporal analysis, and other quantitative methods to support assessments. Identify critical information gaps and coordinate with intelligence analysts to task or c ond uct further collection and analysis. Basic Qualifications: Experience with the DoD or DoE working on nuclear weapon s design, analysis, or assessments
Experience assessing or developing missile system design and performance attributes
Knowledge of foreign nuclear missile operations and dependencies
Knowledge of both U.S. service and NSS systems and architectures
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and network with other NSS and DoE partners
TS / SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in Physical Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operational Research, or Computer Science Additional Qualifications: 3+ years of experience with the DoD or DoE working on nuclear weapon s design, analysis, or assessment working
3+ years of experience with foreign conventional missile or hypersonic missile systems te chn ical analysis
Experience analyzing, characterizing, and modeling foreign ballistic missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, hypersonic cruise missiles, missile trajectory analysis, and missile signatures
Experience working in spe cia l access program and spe cia l access required environments
Experience collaborating with the IC, using formal and informal IC tasking mechanisms, and providing intelligence support to research and development efforts
Knowledge of space from either intelligence analysis or Blue operations perspective
Knowledge of U.S. national and service-specific IC roles and responsibilities and IC reporting, sources, dissemination mechanisms, and tradecrafts
Knowledge of the DoE's enterprise and USSPACECOM and Component intelligence operations
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
Master's degree preferred; Doctorate degree a plus Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
