United Medical Imaging About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear PET CT Technician to join our team in the Health Care Services industry. As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposes. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses. Your role will be critical in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Qualifications:Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic TechnologyCurrent certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)Current state licensure as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist or Radiologic TechnologistExperience in performing Nuclear PET CT imaging proceduresKnowledge of radiation safety procedures and regulationsPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or Radiologic TechnologyExperience with PET CT imaging proceduresExperience with PET CT equipmentStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamResponsibilities:Performing diagnostic imaging procedures using specialized equipment to produce images of a patient's body for diagnostic purposesAdministering radiopharmaceuticals to patients and monitoring their vital signs during the procedureEnsuring the safety of patients and staff by following established radiation safety proceduresMaintaining accurate records of patient procedures and resultsCollaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosesSkills:As a Nuclear PET CT Technician, you will use your specialized skills in diagnostic imaging and radiation safety to provide high-quality patient care.
