Responsibilities:
- Performs Diagnostic Imaging & Radiopharmaceutical Administration
- Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals with accuracy and efficiency according to physician orders.
- Produces high-quality images and ensures proper operation of the system, following radiation safety protocols.
- Patient-Centered Care & Safety
- Delivers patient care tailored to the patient's age, physical ability, and intellectual development.
- Maintains a clean and organized work environment, including exam rooms and equipment.
- Quality Control & Compliance
- Ensures all quality control procedures are followed, maintaining records in compliance NH State Radioactive Materials Program regulations.
- Reports any deviations or issues concerning radiation safety to the Radiation Safety Officer.
- Professional Development & Education
- Stays updated on the latest techniques by attending workshops, in-services, and educational programs.
- Enhances professional growth by staying engaged with current literature and best practices.
- Supportive Tasks
- Organizes tasks efficiently, transport patients, and stock supplies regularly to support smooth operations.
- Maintains accurate records for image interpretation and ensure all images are processed properly for review and storage.
