Overview :

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II is responsible for performing complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures using radio pharmaceuticals and advanced imaging technologies. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist II ensures patient safety, prepares and administers radio pharmaceuticals, and collaborates with medical professionals to deliver high-quality patient care. This role also involves maintaining equipment, adhering to regulatory standards, and participating in continuous education to stay current with advancements in nuclear medicine.

Education:
Associate Degree graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology required

Licenses & Certifications:
ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required and
Licensed Radiologic Technologist as required by state required
BCLS - Basic Life Support required
NMTCB - Nuclear Medicine Tech certification preferred

Qualifications:
1-3 years Experience as Registered Technologist required
3-5 years Experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care setting preferred
