Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in work locum shifts in Honolulu, Hawaii (HI). Starting in May 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.
The Neonatal Nurse Practicioner role:
Highlights:
- Shifts: 7a-7p, 7p-7a, or 24-hour shifts available
- Schedule: 36-40 hours/week (flexible)
- Duration: ASAP start - 13 weeks with option to extend
- Setting: Hospital-based Level III NICU
- Credentialing: 30-60 days
- Vaccination: COVID + Booster required
Responsibilities Include:
- Managing NICU patients, attending high-risk deliveries & C-sections
- Performing advanced procedures: intubations, central lines, chest tubes, etc.
- No circumcisions required
Requirements of the Neonatal Nurse Practioner role:
- HI state license; active, unrestricted (preferred) but willing to wait for license
- BLS (AHA), NRP, and NNP Certification
