Accounting Manager and Scholarships Coordinator


Financial Additions is assisting an established client in Fort Worth with a unique position. This role will assist with coordinating the scholarship program 50% of the time, and will assist the Controller the other 50%.

What you will do:

Scholarship Related Duties:

  • Conduct outreach and promote scholarship opportunities to eligible employees and retirees.
  • Process applications, receive and review supporting documentation, and provide correspondence through out the application process.
  • Prepare selection packets and present candidates to the committee and board
  • Send scholarship payments

Accounting Related Duties:

  • Process and pay bills weekly
  • Prepare 1099 forms and process W-9s for new vendors
  • Prepare journal entries
  • Enter investment income and oil and gas royalties into Quickbooks
  • Reconciliation
  • Other duties as requested by the Controller

What qualifications you will bring:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting required
  • Excellent organization and communication
  • Scholarship and/or grant experience highly preferred
  • Excellent job tenure
