Accounting Manager and Scholarships Coordinator
Financial Additions is assisting an established client in Fort Worth with a unique position. This role will assist with coordinating the scholarship program 50% of the time, and will assist the Controller the other 50%.

What you will do:
Scholarship Related Duties:
- Conduct outreach and promote scholarship opportunities to eligible employees and retirees.
- Process applications, receive and review supporting documentation, and provide correspondence through out the application process.
- Prepare selection packets and present candidates to the committee and board
- Send scholarship payments
Accounting Related Duties:
- Process and pay bills weekly
- Prepare 1099 forms and process W-9s for new vendors
- Prepare journal entries
- Enter investment income and oil and gas royalties into Quickbooks
- Reconciliation
- Other duties as requested by the Controller
What qualifications you will bring:
- Bachelors Degree
- 3+ years bookkeeping/accounting required
- Excellent organization and communication
- Scholarship and/or grant experience highly preferred
- Excellent job tenure
