Pay Rate: $20 per hour (W2)Job Description:Position Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Clerk to join our team in Baltimore, MD. This hybrid role supports operational teams and client service associates within the Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Product Operations division. The successful candidate will manage documentation, ensure data accuracy, and assist in the day-to-day processing of client information in a high-paced, risk-sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Process incoming and outgoing documentation including mail and facsimiles.
- Review client-submitted documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Accurately notate all activities on client accounts.
- Submit finalized documentation for processing at the service center.
- Communicate with clients both verbally and in writing regarding paperwork and follow-ups.
- Prioritize project tasks and maintain regular updates on task progress.
- Utilize MS Word and database tools for data input and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with financial services operational protocols.
- Perform detailed tasks with a high level of accuracy under time constraints.
- Work independently and handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Adapt to evolving job responsibilities and resolve issues effectively.
Division Overview: Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Product Operations supports the operations for Prime Brokerage, Listed Derivatives, and OTC Derivatives. The division collaborates closely with Sales and Trading, Shared Services, and Branch Operations to deliver efficient, end-to-end services while minimizing risk and enhancing control mechanisms.
Within ISG, the Baltimore Expiries and Deliveries team manages expiry functions for futures and options on futures contracts across North American Exchanges. The team is responsible for resolving position discrepancies, overseeing lifecycle events, and ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.
Additional Responsibilities (Expiries and Deliveries Team): - Handle daily expiry and delivery operations for futures and options on futures.
- Resolve position breaks via client and internal team coordination.
- Contribute to regulatory reporting and position management tasks.
- Identify process inefficiencies and support risk mitigation initiatives.
- Participate in team meetings and propose actionable solutions.
- Collaborate effectively within the team and across operational units.
- Analyze issues, determine root causes, and provide practical resolutions.
- Strengthen operational controls and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of assigned products and functions.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications: - Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and database entry systems.
