About the Role

Triple Point is hiring a Non-Executive Director (NED) to join our board and advisory committee, supporting the ongoing growth and strategic development of our organisation, particularly across TP Leasing Limited (TPLL).

The successful candidate will be a vital part of helping shape the company's commercial direction, credit policy, risk management, sustainability agenda and operational excellence, through regular strategic reviews, business planning, governance and oversight activities.

Key Responsibilities

Board and Governance Duties:

  • Attend the scheduled monthly board meetings and other such meetings as may be reasonably required (in-person or remotely).
  • Contribute to the development of business strategy.
  • Assist in the setting of key performance measurements and review commercial progress and prospects across the business.
  • Assist in the positive revision of procedures and processes, and support the mission and vision of the business.
  • Review all Board materials ahead of meetings and complete any assigned actions effectively and in due time.
  • Deputise as Chair of the Board if required.
  • Review monthly management accounts and financial forecasts.
  • Vote on proposals and recommendations from time to time including, but not limited to, the approval of the company's Net Asset Valuation.
  • Review and approve statutory accounts, prospectuses, policies and other key matters including ESG proposals.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities agreed with the Board from time to time.

Strategic Advisory Responsibilities:

  • Advise on opportunities and consider proposals for revenue streams including partnerships, events, advertising, and tactical business development initiatives.
  • Leverage networks to introduce potential strategic partners, key clients and stakeholders.
  • Support the development of innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Mentor senior leaders in marketing, sales and growth strategy, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Non-Executive Director, Board Advisor or in a senior strategic leadership role within organisations aligned to Triple Point's core services.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with an understanding of sustainability initiatives, lending compliance, business development, sales and marketing.
  • Financial literacy, with experience reviewing management accounts, auditing practices and corporate finance.
  • Previous experience in relevant industries is highly desirable (such as financial services, asset finance, leasing, or SME lending - particularly from within a large corporate environment).
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to constructively challenge and support the executive team.
  • Familiarity with governance frameworks, regulatory compliance and risk management best practices.
  • Strong commitment to ethical leadership, diversity and inclusion.
  • Experience in lending compliance and sustainable finance will be particularly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with financial regulatory standards (e.g., FCA, PRA) and strong understanding of credit frameworks.
  • Experience in embedding sustainability principles within business strategy and/or ensuring regulatory compliance in lending operations.
  • Experience participating in or chairing board committees (such as Audit, Risk, or Credit Committees).
