Qualifications:
Required:
- Experience working with Nokia (ALU) routers, specifically 7750 SR, 7705 SAR, and 7210/IXR models.
- Strong command of IP, MPLS, Segment Routing, OSPF, and ISIS protocols.
- Ability to work night shifts as and when required by maintenance windows.
Preferred:
- Nokia NRS II Certification (NRS I acceptable, NRS II strongly preferred).
- Experience with CLI and GUand whenI-based troubleshooting tools.
- Previous experience with IPv6 migration and network performance analysis.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Integration Engineer with hands-on experience working on Nokia ALU 7750, 7705, 7210, and IXR router platforms. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting the integration, deployment, and software upgrades of IP/MPLS network devices for high-performance service provider networks. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, deep understanding of Nokia router configurations, and flexibility to work overnight maintenance windows.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform data integrity verification for ALU 7750, 7705, and 7250 IXR nodes in preparation for integration and software upgrades.
- Execute work in accordance with approved Method of Procedures (MOPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Validate and update MOPs, SOPs, and data templates to support ongoing hardware integration and deployment.
- Prepare detailed MOPs to safely upgrade network software and support internal teams during maintenance events.
- Use CLI and GUI interfaces to resolve software and scripting issues on network equipment.
- Build and verify Nokia router configuration files for integration and deployment.
- Apply Nokia QoS standards in network performance analysis.
- Identify and report discrepancies and escalate issues through proper channels.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Nokia network elements including 7750, 7705, 7210, and IXR platforms.
- Perform software upgrades and implement network changes per customer requirements.
- Deliver IPv6 migration and integration support services.
- Use proprietary tools to execute procedures and meet deliverables.
- Document technical processes and create clear, technician-friendly MOPs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues using strong analytical and diagnostic skills.
- Contribute to quality assurance by escalating potential issues and offering improvements.
