Position Summary MAG currently has an opening for a Systems Administrator IV to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic). This is an exciting opportunity to use your experience helping the cybersecurity implementations and operations, advanced technology, and project management services mission. In this mission, we provide engineering and technical services with operational support located in Charleston SC.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Duties include installation of hardware, software, systems upgrades, network accounts, network security, and web page design, interface and updates, and local system design documentation.
  • Individual shall be capable of training staff on software applicable to their position, assisting customers with information technology, monitoring system configuration (hardware and software), and providing instruction on computers and applications.
Requirements Minimum Requirements

U) Experience:
  • Ten (10) years with Master's or 14 years with Bachelor's degree of professional experience in systems administration to include supporting daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.
  • Individual shall have experience maintaining, troubleshooting, and implementing network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
(U) Education:
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems; and dependent on task, individual shall meet the latest Cybersecurity workforce certification/training in accordance with DoD 8570.1M and subsequent DoD 8140 manual as applicable.
(U) Specific Requirements:
  • Decision making, communication, collaboration and writing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and Outlook (Word, Email, Spreadsheets, Schedules, PowerPoint).
(U) General Requirements:
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must possess an active Secret clearance level

The projected compensation range for this position is $70000 to $130000 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of MAG's total compensation package for employees.
