Night Auditor - Polynesian Hotel

Job description - The night auditor will completenormal front desk duties such as; answering phones, making/canceling reservations,checking guests in/ out, taking payments, and helping resolve any guest concerns. Thefront desk personnel is often the first point of contact for our guests, afriendly welcome is a must. Communicating overnight events to morning staff isessential for a smooth transition.

Job Responsibilities -
  • Welcomeand acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate andaddress service needs
  • Register,take payments, and assign keys to guests
  • Informguests of the amenities and services available to them
  • Informcustomers of availability and rates
  • Handlesany guest issues or complaints, using appropriate service recovery methods
  • Workwith the corresponding departments to resolve any property or guest issues
  • Verifies all in-house reservations on a daily basis for accuracy
  • Follow all company safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safetyhazards
  • Communicate with the morning staffto inform them of any task to be completed or update
Requirements -
  • Available to work a flexibleschedule including weekends and holidays
  • Previous experience is preferred butnot required
  • Able to work for complete overnightshifts independently
  • Abilityto perform computer-based tasks
  • Abilityto work independently
  • 3rd Shift
