Night Auditor - Polynesian Hotel Job description - The night auditor will completenormal front desk duties such as; answering phones, making/canceling reservations,checking guests in/ out, taking payments, and helping resolve any guest concerns. Thefront desk personnel is often the first point of contact for our guests, afriendly welcome is a must. Communicating overnight events to morning staff isessential for a smooth transition.
Job Responsibilities - - Welcomeand acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate andaddress service needs
- Register,take payments, and assign keys to guests
- Informguests of the amenities and services available to them
- Informcustomers of availability and rates
- Handlesany guest issues or complaints, using appropriate service recovery methods
- Workwith the corresponding departments to resolve any property or guest issues
- Verifies all in-house reservations on a daily basis for accuracy
- Follow all company safety andsecurity policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safetyhazards
- Communicate with the morning staffto inform them of any task to be completed or update
Requirements - - Available to work a flexibleschedule including weekends and holidays
- Previous experience is preferred butnot required
- Able to work for complete overnightshifts independently
- Abilityto perform computer-based tasks
- Abilityto work independently
