Description We are currently seeking 15 highly energetic, tactful, and engaging volunteers to work with the Associate Program Director (APD) assisting in the preparations for and execution of the Network 20/ Annual Benefit Gala and Awards Dinner. The Gala will be hosted at
The Racquet and Tennis Club, 370 Park Avenue, New York, NY 1022 on Tuesday, April 29 from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The volunteers are expected to be at the location no later than 2:30 PM to support the preparation of the Gala. The Gala has several high-level attendees, including
Amb. Richard Verma, Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Resources from , and U.S. Ambassador to India from ;
Glenn Hutchins, Chair of
North Island and North Island Ventures and co-founder of
Silver Lake; and
Daniel Kurtz-Phelan, Editor of

- Get to know the preparation and running process of a non-profit Gala
- Listen to top thinkers in international affairs
- Support a non-profit making an impact in the international affairs world
- Dinner at a signature private club in New York City
Specific responsibilities include: - Support the ADP and other Network 20/20's staff to set up for the Gala the afternoon of April 29 including but not limited to setting up registration tables, marketing assets, decorations, and activities
- Support the registration process including but not limited to:
- setting up the registration table,
- arranging name tags,
- greeting and checking-in guests,
- processing payments,
- trouble-shooting questions
- Ensure all guests find a seat during the event
- Assist with the fine wine raffle fundraiser
- Gather all materials after the event and ensure a timely and clean exit from the Club
Requirements: - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and good organizational abilities
- Physically located in NYC and available during the afternoon and evening of April 29
- Dress formerly during the Gala (suits and ties are required for men)
