Quality of Care: - Document patient care in compliance with nursing documentation standards. - Develop comprehensive care plans based on patient assessments, health care team input, intra-agency referrals, and medical records. - Create educational plans for patients and families, following departmental documentation standards. - Formulate discharge plans, including resource utilization and community referrals. Evaluate care plan effectiveness and document goal attainment. Actively participate in unit-based and organizational quality management and improvement initiatives. Ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and families. Administer medications and perform nursing procedures safely and efficiently. Use equipment and observe infection control protocols. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing. A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Experience: Prior experience not required unless specified for certain specialty areas. Licensure: Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts
