This is a sales position reports directly to the Director of Contract Sales. This position will be responsible for the improvement of Sysco's market position and achieving financial growth by defining long-term strategic goals, identifying business opportunity, finding potential new customers and negotiating contracts to secure their business. Working with the RSMs, DSMs and MA, the New Business Developer fosters relationships with prospects and transitions these accounts to the sales force. Responsibilities include supporting customer engagement efforts, developing a comprehensive business development strategy, identifying business development opportunities, collaborating with the sales team, managing systems and processes to track results, gathering information on market trends, and conducting quality business reviews for existing customers.
