Archie Bolden is a global multi-disciplinary design studio specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, Decoration and 3D Visualization. This position is based out of our Atlanta office and will also support our affiliated businesses, which span communication design, technology, and property development.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The New Business Developer is responsible for driving growth and expanding market reach by identifying and securing new project opportunities across architecture, interior design, and decoration services. This role is client-facing and strategy-driven, requiring a strong understanding of the design industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build relationships with property developers, real estate agents, general contractors, private clients, business operators, corporate partners, and aligned consultants.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and pursue new business leads across residential, commercial, and mixed use sectors
- Create, develop and maintain relationships with property developers, real estate agents, general contractors, private clients, business operators, corporate partners, and aligned consultants. (e.g., engineers, contractors)
- Assist the preparation of proposals, EOIs, RFPs, and pitch decks tailored to each opportunity
- Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
- Work closely with leadership to align pursuit strategy with studio capabilities and positioning
- Track and report on business development metrics and pipeline health
- Maintain and update CRM tools to manage contacts, outreach, and follow-ups
- Monitor industry trends, client activity, and competitor positioning to inform strategy
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field
- 3-5+ years of experience in business development or client strategy within the design, property, or creative services sector
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate design capability into commercial value
- Familiarity with project types across architecture, interior design and decoration
- Proficient in CRM systems and comfortable managing outbound outreach
