Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Spine Physician Assistant Opportunity

Position Summary
UNC Health Pardee is offering an opportunity for a full time, experienced Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Spine APP to join their well-established practice. This is an employed position with a focus on spine and a strong referral base and excellent collaboration within the UNC Health System. Duties include but are not limited to
- Diagnosing/treating acute and chronic spine conditions in both inpatient and outpatient practice with occasional hospital rounds
- Performing H&P exams prior to surgery
- Ordering/interpreting lab results
- Radiographs
- Surgical assists for spine surgeons as needed
- Clinic Hours are from 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Candidate Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 1+ years of Neurosurgery or Orthopedic Spine experience (Required)
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant (Required)
- Licenses & Certifications:
- NCCPA National Certification (Required)
- BLS - Basic Life Support (Required)
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Required)
- NC License (preferred)
- EMR: Epic (experience a plus)
