Locum Neuroendovascular Neurosurgeon Opening in Colorado Springs, CO (CALL ONLY)
Heavy Surgical Emphasis Immediate and Ongoing Needs
Dates:
August 4 (7am) August 8 (7am)
August 15 (7am) August 21 (7am)
October through December Fully Open
Ongoing: days/month
Rate: Negotiable (Cap: $6,000/day call, $600/call back)
Schedule: 24-hour call (7am 7am)

Job Details:
Must perform both Open Cerebrovascular and Neuroendovascular procedures
Procedures: thrombectomies and clippings required (no transfer to other provider)
Facility will not accept neurointerventional radiologists
100% adult 50% trauma 100% inpatient
Avg. 0 5 hospital-based patients/day
Heavy surgical emphasis (must be noted in submission)
All call consults handled by the neuroendovascular surgeon
EMR: Epic
Credentialing: 90 days

Requirements:
Board Certified in Neurological Surgery (ABNS or NES)
Active CO license or IMLC
Must be available for both August date ranges
Must be able to perform thrombectomies and clippings
ACLS, BLS (AHA), and DEA required
Clean background required (1 malpractice case COVID vaccination required

Travel & Reimbursement:
Flights: Up to $750 roundtrip
Lodging: Up to $150/night (reimbursed by receipt)
Car rental: Economy class max
Reimbursable: Fuel (rental car only), tolls, parking, luggage
