Neurology Physician

Locums - Palm Beach County, Florida, Neurohospitalist Job

•  Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible neurologist
•  Needs are July 14 AM - July 21 AM
•  Future dates may arise
•  Inpatient work only
•  Work during the day, 8a-5p
•  Overnight phone call (typically managing over the phone and computer until the morning) - for emergencies, you'd have to come into the facility
•  Reason for need: permanent vacancy
•  Must read EEGs
•  Work with one other physician
•  Not a very busy program (5-8 consults per day)
•  You'd have to handle stroke alerts (group only has about 20-30 a month)
•  Neurointensivist handles neuro ICU
•  Neuroradiologist handles all procedures
•  EMR: EPIC
