Job Title: Locum - Physician - Traumatic Brain Injury/General Medicine

Join a dedicated team helping our nation's Veterans. We are seeking motivated physicians to conduct a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams in Fayetteville, North Carolina. This role provides an excellent opportunity to serve while working in a facility focused on the well-being of veterans. Candidates will work on a PRN basis and can expect quick credentialing and onboarding.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
  • Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessment including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
  • Complete standardized forms for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.
  • Utilize the provider portal for evaluations and submit required documentation.
  • Participate in follow-up administrative work, including addendums and medical opinions.
  • Attend training for Reporting/Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and other protocols.
  • Be available for weekend shifts if desired.
  • Option to provide services either at VES leased facilities or schedule veterans within your own practice.
Qualifications:
  • Board Certification in Neurology, Neurosurgery, or PM&R required.
  • Active and unrestricted full medical license.
  • Must be willing to complete DMA training for certification.
  • Experience in METs testing and evaluating respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
  • Proficient in musculoskeletal examinations.
  • Own a personal laptop (no Mac/Apple products).
License and Certification Requirements:
  • Board Certified.
  • Must complete DMA training to become DMA certified.
  • Copy of ECFMG certificate if graduated from international medical school.
  • Provide current home address on CV and license number.
