Position: Neurology - Location: Biddeford, ME - Portland 15m - Full-time, permanent position - General or Subspecialty - Primarily Outpatient with Limited Inpatient ConsultsPosition Overview: Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist with general or subspecialty interests to join its established and collegial practice in Biddeford. The position is primarily outpatient with minimal inpatient consultation responsibilities, supported by experienced APPs.Practice Details: Employed Based at the Biddeford campus in a regional office with comprehensive services Primarily outpatient neurology with consultative inpatient coverage (minimal) Telestroke service provides separate stroke call support Strong academic connections Teaching opportunities available for rotating third-year medical students Call Structure: One week per month Weekday call (8am 5pm) coordinated with APPs After-hours/weekend call is phone only - no in-person requirements No ambulatory after-hours responsibilities (handled by primary care) Qualifications: MD or DO from an accredited medical school Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology Eligible for Maine medical license Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package Malpractice coverage Paid time off and CME time Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance Retirement plan with employer contribution Why Biddeford, Maine?
