This is a full-time, Monday through Friday position with no night orweekend shifts required, offering an excellent work-life balance in a dynamicand collaborative healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities: - Provide comprehensiveneurology consult services to patients admitted to the hospital.
- Perform detailed patienthistories, physical exams, and neurological assessments.
- Develop and implementtreatment plans in collaboration with attending neurologists and the care team.
- Order and interpretdiagnostic tests, including imaging and lab work.
- Monitor patient progress andadjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients andfamilies on neurological conditions, treatment plans, and ongoing care.
- Communicate effectively withmultidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality patient care.
- Document all patientencounters and treatment plans in the electronic medical record (EMR) in atimely manner.
- Participate in qualityimprovement initiatives and contribute to team-based care strategies.
Qualifications: - Master's degree in PhysicianAssistant Studies from an accredited program.
- Current PA licensure in thestate of Massachusetts.
- Certification by theNational Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Minimum of 1-2 years ofexperience in neurology or a related specialty preferred.
- Strong clinical skills inconducting neurological exams and diagnosing neurological conditions.
- Excellent communication,interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in usingelectronic medical records (EMR) systems.
