The facility, a Level II Trauma Center using EPIC for EMR, is seeking an MD or DO for inpatient coverage due to a recent resignation, leaving half of a 7-day on/off coverage module unfilled. They require a Board-Certified provider with a GA license, working 15-17 shifts per month, including weekdays and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM. The estimated patient load per shift is 17, with a daily census of 12 and an average of five admissions. There is one APP for support, and a telestroke program is available, but telephysicians are not an option. The credentialing process takes approximately 120 days.
