The Network & Telecom Admin is responsible for maintaining current networking and telephony infrastructure systems and resolving any issues that may occur with them. This includes networking devices, VoIP communication systems including Call Centers, VoiceMail, Phone Banking, Fax Services, and the supporting infrastructure. The admin is responsible for monitoring performance across LAN and WAN networks ensuring superior voice quality. In addition, the admin assists in projects, outage remediation, and equipment lifecycle management.

What you will do here:

Monitor, maintain, and upgrade LANs, WANs, network segments, internet, and intranet systems

Monitor, maintain, and upgrade telephony systems including desktop phones, softphones, VoIP systems, IVR, call centers, and fax servers.

Analyze, isolate, and remediate issues

Monitor networks to ensure security, availability, and performance

Provide support to internal and external clients by handling trouble ticket requests for support including moves, adds, changes, repairs, and inquiries

Configure and load software configuration files to switches and routers both in-person and remotely

Performs system optimization and updates voice response system

Act in a Customer liaison role for contact center leadership discussing improvements, efficiencies, and business enablement strategies leveraging the contact center suite of products.

What you will need:

High School Diploma or GED required.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related degrees preferred.

Equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Network and telephony administration experience required.

Server administration experience preferred.

Routing and switching protocols required.

Telephony technologies including SIP, PRI, analog, VoIP, and digital circuits required.

eFax Server Administration required.

Network topology and LAN/WAN design required.

Technical Problem Solving Ability required.

Teamwork required.

Excellent communication skills required.

Cisco CCNA preferred.

Cisco VoIP or other telephony certifications preferred.
