Job DetailsWhat you will be doing:
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot network components such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Support OSPF, Static Routes, VLANs, L3 VLAN interfaces, ACLs, Multicast (PIM Dense/Sparse), and basic QoS implementations.
Configure network services including DNS and NTP.
Use network management and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark and Fluke test equipment.
Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams following the SAFe Agile Process Framework to support product development and integration.
Maintain accurate documentation of network configurations and changes.
Provide support to combat systems engineering and field activities as needed.
Must have skills:
Must have a DoD Security Clearance.
2 - 4 years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining networking equipment.
Familiarity with routing protocols, multicast technologies, and QoS fundamentals.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong documentation and communication abilities.
Ability to work onsite full-time at the Manassas, VA location.
Nice to Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Networking or related field
Experience with Arista or Cisco switches.
Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP).
Experience configuring DNS and NTP services.
Experience with network analysis tools such as Wireshark or Fluke.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile development environments.
