Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Network Support: Provide assistance and coordinate actions during network outages to ensure immediate resolution.
  • System Administration: Manage and support around 50 CISCO network devices across several security domains.
  • Daily Operations: Oversee daily operations, monitor system performance, and actively resolve issues to maintain optimal performance and availability.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot network outages, manage event notifications, and address customer network issues.
  • Collaboration: Engage in departmental and cross-functional initiatives to enhance network performance and reliability.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree with over 2 years of practical experience in Network Administration focusing on LAN technologies; equivalent experience may be substituted for formal education.
  • Active IAT Level II DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification (e.g., Security+ CE).
  • CISCO Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification required within 90 days from the date of hire.
  • Expertise in TACACs+, data packet capture, traffic analysis, and vulnerability analysis.
  • Competence in configuring CISCO devices using EIGRP, BGP, SNMP, TCP/IP, OSPF, Spanning Tree, ARP, dot1Q, VLANs, VPN, GRE, IPSEC, subnetting, NAT, access control lists, and various routing protocols.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of the OSI model and proficiency in multi-protocol routing, including VRF, VPN, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VPLS, and VPRN.

Pay Range: $57,850.00 - $104,575.00
