Position Overview/Responsibilities for the Network Engineer - E5: - Contribute to all network requirements activities, including the management of the network requirements baseline
- Support the development and review of system engineering artifacts such as specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, and Trade Studies
- Author and perform formal and informal engineering reviews as required
- Develop high-level design material to be incorporated into the existing baselined Missile Defense System Communication Network Implementation Specification (MCNIS)
- This position is a full-time role and requires U.S. Citizenship due to security clearance and government/federal contracts held by our client Required Skills for Network Engineer - E5: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline (i.e. EE, CIS, CPE, MIS, IT), or equivalent experience/combined education, with 2 years of professional experience; or 0 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree
- IAT Level II 8570 Compliant Certification such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.
- Government security clearance (DoD Secret minimum, Top Secret - desired)
