Key Responsibilities: - Network Security Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain network security policies, procedures, and controls.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and mitigation.
- Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and address potential threats.
- Penetration Testing:
- Conduct penetration tests on network systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including internal and external tests.
- Analyze and report on test results, providing actionable recommendations to enhance security posture.
- Fortinet Equipment Management:
- Configure, deploy, and manage Fortinet firewalls, VPNs, and other security appliances.
- Ensure Fortinet solutions are optimized and up-to-date, addressing any performance or security issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Fortinet equipment and network security.
- Cybersecurity Strategy:
- Stay informed about emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other IT and security professionals to develop and refine security strategies.
- Provide expertise on cybersecurity trends and technologies, recommending improvements as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of network security configurations, incidents, and changes.
- Prepare and present security reports and metrics to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Compliance and Standards:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and policies.
- Participate in audits and assessments to verify adherence to security requirements.
Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on service provider networks.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, OSCP, or Fortinet NSE are highly desirable.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in network security principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Fortinet products, including FortiGate, FortiAnalyzer, and FortiManager.
- Expertise in penetration testing tools and methodologies (e.g., Nmap, Metasploit, Burp Suite).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and firewall configurations.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
