Network Security Architect
Location: Spring, TX. Hybrid.
Contract role.
- Design and Implement Network Security Solutions using Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto technologies.
- Conduct Risk Assessment and Mitigation activities to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot firewall systems from Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto.
- Deploy and maintain Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems (IDPS) to detect and block malicious activities.
- Develop and maintain Security Incident Response procedures to promptly address security breaches.
- Establish and enforce Security Policy Development to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Monitor network traffic and security events to identify suspicious activities and anomalies.
- Conduct Security Awareness Training sessions for staff members.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements: - Hands-on experience with Fortinet, Checkpoint, and Palo Alto technologies.
- CCIE Certification.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, BGP, OSPF).
- Additional security certifications preferred (CISSP, CEH, CISM).
- Proficiency in risk assessment and penetration testing.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with industry trends.
