Join the Digital Modernization sector at Leidos as a Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst. In this role, you will support the operational environment for the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) NOC. Become part of an essential mission where we are transforming the existing Secure Web Services (SWS) environment to enhance secure information sharing for the Department of Defense and intelligence communities.

This position is based in Arlington, VA, is 100% on-site, and supports First Shift, (6am-2pm).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Conduct operational reviews at the beginning of each shift to ensure services are performing optimally, troubleshoot known system anomalies, and perform root cause analysis as necessary. Document and develop process improvements to prevent future issues, mentoring junior team members on these processes.
  • Collaborate both independently and with other IT specialists to maintain the smooth operation of a multi-user environment, ensuring adherence to STIG requirements and ensuring network security measures meet customer and Department of Defense standards.
  • Take responsibility for customer issues, maintaining regular communication regarding ticket status and resolution efforts, ensuring all issues are well-documented.
  • Plan and implement network security measures to safeguard data, software, and hardware effectively.
  • Review user requests for network upgrades or additions, assessing their impact on performance and providing informed guidance on their implementation.
  • Provide 24x7 support for system outages, delivering regular updates on resolution timelines.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant experience; additional experience or military service may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • IAT Level II Baseline Certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP).
  • Active DoD TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and fault isolation in IT systems.
  • Experience in at least five of the following areas:
    • Configuring Cisco switches and routers
    • Dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF)
    • TCPDUMP / WireShark
    • Troubleshooting S2S/DMVPN/IPSEC connection issues
    • LAN and WAN network troubleshooting
    • Basic firewall troubleshooting and configuration
    • Basic ISE/TACACS troubleshooting and configuration
    • AWS Cloud services
    • VLAN configurations and VLAN trunking
    • Spanning Tree Protocol
    • 802.1x
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience with DISA and its support to mission partners.
  • Active CI Poly clearance.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
