The Network Manager will support all business units within Mosaic Health and is responsible for overseeing
the design, implementation, security, and maintenance of the organization's network infrastructure to ensure
optimal performance, scalability, and reliability. This role leads a team of network engineers and
administrators, collaborating with IT leadership to develop and execute network strategies that align with
business and healthcare IT needs.

The Network Manager ensures compliance with industry standards and security best practices while
proactively identifying and mitigating network risks. This role plays a key part in network optimization,
troubleshooting, and future-proofing the organization's IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure,
including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.

• Manage and mentor network engineers and administrators, providing guidance on best practices
and technical development.

• Ensure high network availability, performance, and security across all locations.

• Oversee the configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network devices such as routers,
switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

• Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA, NIST, and other
regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with IT security teams to mitigate network vulnerabilities and respond to security
threats.

• Optimize network traffic flow, bandwidth utilization, and QoS policies to enhance application
performance.

• Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity planning for network infrastructure.

• Work closely with vendors and service providers to evaluate new network technologies and
solutions.

• Manage network-related projects, ensuring timely execution and alignment with business objectives.

• Maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.

• Provide technical leadership for system upgrades, migrations, and expansions.

• Develop and manage network budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions.

• Stay up to date on emerging network technologies, trends, and best practices.

• Demonstrate excellent guest service to internal team members and patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (Master's
preferred).

• 5+ years of experience in network administration or engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership
role.

• Strong experience with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or Fortinet networking equipment.

• Expertise in TCP/IP, VLANs, MPLS, BGP, OSPF, and network protocols.

• Hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances.

• Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructures.

• Experience implementing SD-WAN, network automation, and performance optimization.

• Knowledge of network security frameworks (NIST, CIS, HIPAA security guidelines).

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.

• Relevant certifications preferred: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Physical Demands

• Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force
frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Repetitive motion.
Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. The worker must have close
visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing;
viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading. Ability to lift to 15 lbs. independently not to exceed
50 lbs. without help.
