Job Number: R Network Engineer The Opportunity: A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable our national security clients to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their current and evolving needs? That's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network our national space customer needs, As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in designing, establishing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining computer networks to support the nation's defense and respond to evolving adversaries. You'll design and configure network hardware layouts, integrating old and new technology with cloud-based systems, and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems. You Have: Experience in designing, establishing, developing, optimizing, and maintaining computer networks Experience controlling computer networks and computing environments Experience designing and configuring network hardware layouts, integrating old and new technology with cloud-based systems Ability to troubleshoot any network problems that may arise TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph HS diploma or GED and 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer or Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience as a Network Engineer Nice If You Have: Security + Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
