Job Number: R Network Engineer The Opportunity: As a Network Engineer on our team, you'll support the development of architectural blueprints for new networks and enhancements to production networks. You'll apply advanced consult ing skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. You will develop innovative solutions to complex problems and work without considerable direction. You'll mentor and may supervise team members. You will rely heavily on your experience with frequency-based IP networks radio communication systems and mesh networks in order the ability to properly plan for scalability. You will c ond uct analyses and studies to establish the feasibility of systems and subsystems requirements, and assist multiple clients with requirements analysis, implementation, and compliance with directives and procedures. You will support the client in the collection, dissemination, and development of product information or data for critical decision-making. You'll apply your expertise in networking and combine it with your experience and skill with people to liaison between the Army office on APG and their customers. You will be the bridge between the Radio Frequency ( RF ) domain and a systems network infrastructure using a strong understanding of RF data transmission mechanics, including frequency bandwidth capacity, Modulation Coding Schemes ( MCS ) , information spatial streams, and with Multi-Input Multi-Output ( MIMO ) technologies, to inform total data capabilities for large scale multi node networks. Ability to work on teams or alone without supervision
Ability to anticipate the needs of the client
Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in an Electronic Engineering field Nice If You Have: Experience with Cisco, Jupiter, PacStar, or Klaus Networking systems
Experience with test and evaluation processes
Knowledge of the Army's Integrated Tactical Network and subcomponents
Knowledge of frequency bands, spectrum analyzers, troubleshooting radio links, and establishing digital networks
Ability to document configuration management, resource options for lifecycle procurement, operation management, and equipment End-of-Life ( EOL ) replacement
Possession of excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possession of excellent presentation skills
Cisco CCNA or CCNP Certification Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
