Indotronix is seeking a Network Engineer in Pittsburgh, PA, and multiple client tech hub locations

Position: Network Engineer

Location: Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Farmers Branch, TX, and Phoenix, AZ

Technology Satellites :

Cincinnati, OH, Miamisburg, OH, Downers Grove, IL, Overland Park, KS, Philadelphia, PA, Columbus, OH, Little Rock, AR, Jacksonville, FL

Ability to work remotely: HYBRID- 3 days office / 2 days remote

Acceptable time zone(s): CST / EST

Working Hours (Flexible): 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (EST)

Duration: Contract to hire

Industry background:

Network Security / Programming required

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Perform design tasks and develop components of application and technical architecture

• Develop test cases and data

• Execute tests for the application or technical architecture components, work with other programmers, designers, and architects to meet application requirements and performance goals, participate in code reviews, inform the technical architect and project manager of any issues that may affect any other areas of the project, fix any defects and performance problems discovered in testing, document the application to facilitate maintenance.

• Assists with selecting appropriate platforms, integrates and configures solutions.

• Develops software components and hardware for new and emerging technology projects; aligns these with business strategies and objectives.

• May provide consultation on common issues and best practices for junior staff.

• Provides a systematic analysis on client requirements within the traceability framework and resolves any functional problems encountered.

• Ensures quality of project deliverables while maintaining compliance with relevant standards and processes.

Must Have Technical Skills:

1. Openshift

2. Network Policy Service Mesh / Istio

3. GIT / GitOps / ArgoCD or Flux

4. Kubernetes experience

5. Network firewalls

6. Experience with scripting or automation (Ex. Python, Ansible)

7. Strong understanding of service mesh concepts

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

1. Jira

2. Confluence

3. Service Now - Change mgt.

Soft Skills:

1. Excellent verbal and written and communication skills

2. High analytical ability

3. Problem-solving skills

Education/Certifications:

Experience is most important
